Bogliasco Foundation Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Fellowships : The Bogliasco Foundation is currently accepting applications for Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 residential fellowships inviting applications from gifted artists and scholars doing creative or scholarly work in the different disciplines.

The Bogliasco Foundation is currently accepting applications for Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 residential fellowships.

The Bogliasco Foundation supports the Arts and Humanities by providing residential Fellowships at its study center in Italy’s most vibrant, historic crossroads, where gifted artists and scholars of all cultures come together to connect, create and disseminate significant new work.

Twice a year, the Foundation welcomes applications from individuals doing creative or scholarly work in the following disciplines:

➜ Dance,
➜ Film/Video,
➜ History,
➜ Literature,
➜ Music,
➜ Philosophy,
➜ Theater,
➜ Visual Arts.

During their month long stay at the Center, Bogliasco Fellows are provided with living quarters, full board, and a work space or separate studio, depending on the discipline.

Located in the fishing village of Bogliasco near Genoa, in a region of extraordinary beauty whose landscape has stimulated creative expression for centuries, the Bogliasco Foundation offers one-month residencies to individuals who can demonstrate notable achievement in the Arts and Humanities: those disciplines that seek to understand our place in the world, shaping and defining what it means to be human.

➜ Who may enter?

To be eligible for the award of a Fellowship, applicants should demonstrate significant achievement in their disciplines, commensurate with their age and experience. Please note that Bogliasco Fellowships are not awarded to students currently in a degree-granting program. The Foundation gives preference to those whose applications suggest that they would be comfortable working in an intimate, international, multilingual community of scholars and artists.

➜ Prize:

The Foundation awards approximately 60 Fellowships each year in seven residency periods that run from September through May.

Fall 2025 Application Fee:
➜ $30 - Regular deadline (until 25 November 2024, 11:59pm ET)
➜ $45 - Extended deadline (until 2 December 2024, 11:59pm ET)

Applicants will be notified of the results by email on or around 3 March 2025.

Spring 2026 Application Fee:
➜ $30 - Regular deadline (until 7 March 2025, 11:59pm ET)
➜ $45 - Extended deadline (until 14 March 2025, 11:59pm ET)

Applicants will be notified of the results by email on or around 16 June 2025.
