Vega Digital Awards 2024: Vega Digital Awards recently opened for entries and organised by International Awards Associate Inc (IAA) wishes to recognize excellence in the planning & execution of digital communications.

About Competition

The 2024 Vega Digital Awards now is calling for entries! The award wishes to recognize and honor the exemplary talents and creative minds of digital content creators worldwide, no matter their affiliation or experience.

The award recognizes and celebrates excellence in Websites, Video, Mobile, Social, Animation, Marketing, and Podcasts, across local and international.

Since the competition focuses on excellence, it does not matter whether the submission is from a firm or an individual; a professional or an enthusiast; a veteran or a novice – what matters is the work itself, wherein the details, innovation, creativity, and foresight shine brightest.

Vega celebrates the very best brought forth by the world’s digital architects and craftsmen. Since the competition focuses on excellence, it does not matter whether the submission is from a firm or an individual; a professional or an enthusiast; a veteran or a novice – what matters is the work itself, wherein the details, innovation, creativity, and foresight shine brightest.

There are three levels of achievement in the competition:

➜ PLATINUM (Canopus): 85-100 points
➜ GOLD (Centauri): 70-84 points
➜ SILVER (Arcturus): 50-69 points

Vega accepts digital works and projects, which include advertising, design, interactive content, mobile apps, web design/development, and audio/video productions. The competition’s categories are set to be diverse in order to represent digital culture.

Work submitted must have been created within the last 2 years.

To ensure high standards of high quality, a category may have multiple winners or no winners.

Submission requirements

➜ Entries must be produced within the last two calendar years up through the final deadline.
➜ All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The Vega Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.

Evaluation Criteria

Audio: Content, quality of craft, overall experience
Video/Online Video: Concept/writing, quality of craft, integration, impact, and overall experience
Website: Visual design, content, structure and navigation/functionality, interactivity, and overall experience
Mobile Apps/Sites: Content, structure and navigation/functionality, visual design, interactivity, and overall experience
Digital Marketing: Creativity, impact, innovation, integration, and overall experience
Social Content & Marketing/Social Campaign & Series: Content, reach, creativity, engagement, and overall experience
Owned Media: Creativity, impact, execution, innovation, and overall experience
Virtual Reality & 360 Video: Concept/writing, quality of craft, integration, immersion, and overall experience
Video Channels & Networks: Content, technical execution, execution, and overall experience

Eligibility

The Vega Awards is open to all digital media companies and organizations, regardless of size, from sole proprietors on up and from everywhere on the globe.

Prize

➜ One professionally designed certificate commemorating the winning entry, which includes entry title, entering company/winners' name and category. Decal will be affixed indicating the level of win.
➜ Top tier (Platinum and Gold) winners will be featured on Vega Awards site's Gallery, where professionals can view your work.
➜ A press release template sent to major industry outlets, celebrating your win.
➜ Professionally designed logos for use on websites, in email signatures, etc.
➜ In addition to the complimentary certificates, Platinum, Gold, and Silver winners may purchase beautiful Vega Awards statuettes, and/or additional customized certificates.
➜ Platinum and Silver winners will get featured by Vega on social media or our media partner on Muse.World’s website.

Entry fees

Entry fee during the Regular submission period (6 Jan 2024 — 8 Feb 2024) cost ($125 - $195). After that period ends the amount of the fee will increase.
