The Golden Pin Design Award is recognized as one of Asia’s premier and most prestigious design competitions, annually attracting exceptional talent from across the globe.

Established to celebrate and promote innovative, commercially successful designs, the award highlights outstanding work in four major categories: Product Design, Communication Design, Spatial Design, and Integration Design.

Beyond celebrating individual achievements, the Golden Pin Design Award contributes significantly to shaping global design trends and promoting cultural exchange between Asia and the international design community.

Each year, through a rigorous and impartial judging process led by industry experts, over one hundred products and projects are selected to receive the coveted Design Mark certificate in recognition of outstanding design based on originality, aesthetics, functionality, and their overall impact on the market and society.

Winning this prestigious accolade opens doors to strategic partnerships, increased market visibility, and potential business expansion across Asian markets, further reinforcing the economic and cultural value of effective design. As a result, the Golden Pin Design Award is widely regarded not just as an award but as an influential gateway to international recognition and lasting success in the design industry.

During the grand award ceremony, the winner of the Best Design of the Year is ceremoniously announced, marking a moment of triumph for the designer. The Design Night event on that evening also provides an opportunity for professionals in the global design and creative industries to network and exchange ideas.

Open to global teams and companies with commercialized designs. Applicants must be the project client or design team.

➜ Prize:

The top three Best Design Award winners will each receive a cash prize of NT$300,000, supporting the transformation of concepts into reality.

Winners of the Golden Pin Design Award receive international exposure, opportunities for industry collaborations, and potential market expansion.

➜ Entry fees:

During the Early Bird fee cost T$7,000 per entry and during the Regular cost NT$9,000 per entry.
