In-Between: The Afterlife Terminal

In-Between: The Afterlife Terminal now is over!
In-Between: The Afterlife Terminal: The Big Thing recently has launched a new Architecture & Design Competition 'In-Between: The Afterlife Terminal' that explores a fictional typology of architecture based on the designer’s imagination and visual realization of Un-Built environments.
➜ Short description
The competition "In-Between: The Afterlife Terminal" explores a fictional typology of architecture based on the designer’s imagination and visual realization of Un-Built environments.
The competition focuses on a non-denominational space for all souls, where they are assigned their places in either heaven or hell. According to widely common views in various cultures, heaven and hell are essentially deserved compensation for the kind of earthly lives we live.
The idea proposes an imaginative typology of a terminal space that permits the transfer of souls to either heaven or hell. The design concept explores various different theories of philosophy and expresses it through proposing a creation of an imaginative typology for all belief systems that serves as an arrival space for all souls before they embark on their journey of afterlife.
The basic premise is to imagine a terminal building that welcomes arrival of souls into the realm of afterlife and then their further transfer to either hell or heaven.
