DBA Design Effectiveness Awards 2021: The Design Business Association (DBA) recently has announced the new edition of its DBA Design Effectiveness Award 2021, the most rewarding design accolade to win, dedicate to all, across sectors and disciplines worldwide.

The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards 2021 now is calling for entries!

The Awards celebrates and champions the integral role design plays in business success, improving societies and enhancing people’s lives.

The most persuasive way of communicating the value of design is by measuring its true effectiveness. The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards provide powerful evidence of design’s ability to influence business success.

A win represents independent and authoritative recognition of the value of your work. It will demonstrate your ability to create competitive advantage through design and deliver a multitude of benefits to your business and team.

A DBA Design Effectiveness Award win will provide valuable differentiation from competitors. Entering can also hone your approach to measuring effectiveness, helping you to build greater robustness into briefs and to accumulate evidence of the value of your work, bolstering the case for design investment.

➜ Submission requirements:

Any design can be entered as long as design made a clear contribution to the success of the business or initiative, and the results of this can be measured and proven.

Any design project, either re-designs or new products that demonstrate effectiveness. The project could have launched at any time, but your entry must include some up-to-date evidence collated after 1 June 2018.

You can use between 3-6 images within your case study.

➜ Evaluation Criteria:

Judges are looking for designs that prove beyond reasonable doubt an award-winning cause and effect between the design and business success through tangible results.

DBA Design Effectiveness Awards 2021 ceremony will be held in June 2021.

➜ Who may enter?

The awards are open to all, across sectors and disciplines worldwide. Entries are jointly submitted by the agency, or in-house design team delivering the work and the commissioning client.

➜ Prize:

Both client and designer will be rewarded with a coveted Bronze, Silver or Gold award.

You can save £100 on your total entry fee if you pay before Earlybird deadline (23 October 2020) ends.
