Bird In Flight Prize 2021: The Bird in Flight Prize 2021, photography competition that support photographers who think outside the box of traditional artistic standards now is opened for entries inviting all unconventional photographers worldwide to participate!

The 2020 Bird in Flight Prize is photography competition open for works by unconventional photographers worldwide, recently opened for entries. This competition is organized by Bird In Flight, online magazine about photography and visual culture.
The concept of the Bird in Flight Prize is to support photographers who think outside the box of traditional artistic standards. This contest is not about photo projects that cater to the existing general demand. It’s about discovering new ways to tell a story using the means and tools of photography. Organizer encourage artistic freedom and diversity therefore their don’t impose time constraints upon their participants. They do not limit them in their choices of subjects and creativity methods.
The choice of theme is unrestricted.
Submission requirements:
➜ To apply, an author should submit a photo series (from 5 to 12 images). A project may also include additional media attachments.
The jury of the Bird in Flight Prize ‘20 includes curators, photographers, artists, and photo editors from the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and Sweden.
This nomination will consist of 30 photoseries selected by the editorial board of Bird in Flight. A winner will be chosen by open voting through the contest website.
Winners will be announced on 30 October 2020.
Entry fee:
The application fee is 15 Euro. Submission for the portfolio review selection costs extra 5 Euro.
➜ Who may enter?
Photographers all over the world are welcomed to participate. This competition is open for works by unconventional photographers worldwide.
➜ Prize:
The main winner will receive a 2,000 Euro prize. Ten best projects determined by the judges will be published on Bird in Flight.
A special prize in the nomination of the Samsung Readers’ Choice Award (its winner will be determined by open voting) is a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone.
Another 25 applicants will receive a portfolio review by the jury. The portfolio review will be held online.
