The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology 2021: The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology 2021, international annual juried competition now in its 10th year is calling for entries and like every year celebrates the very best art created digitally by artists around the world.

The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology, organized by Lumen Art Projects, a not-for-profit based in the UK, is calling all artists engaging with technology to submit their best work and enter the competition for 2021.
The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology celebrates the very best art created with technology through a global competition, exhibitions and events worldwide run by Lumen Art Projects.
All art that engages with technology in some form is eligibile for entries.
There is no limit on the age of a submitted work.
The judging of the Lumen Prize will be done in two stages. The longlist is determined by the International Selectors Committee of curators, artists and academics. This longlist is then reviewed by the Jury Panel, who select the Shortlist and Award Winners.

Artists from anywhere in the world may enter in this digital art competition.

➜ Gold Award (goes to the artist whose work is judged to be exceptional across all categories) – $4,000
➜ Moving Image Award (for excellence in time-based artwork, including animation, CGI, generative or video art; narrative or non-narrative works) – $1,000
➜ Still Image Award (for excellence in art using digital processes in its creation, including photo-manipulation, 3D renders, or drawings created on any device) – $1,000
➜ 3D/Interactive Award (for excellence in art that engages with audiences through sound, touch or movement, including games, installations, websites or sculpture) – $1,000
➜ MindFuture Award (for excellence in art that explores future relationships between humans and AI, robotics or biotech) – $1,000
➜ Global South Award (for excellence in art created with technology by an artist or collective from Africa, Latin America or the developing economies of Asia and the Middle East) – $1,000
➜ Nordic Award (for excellence in art created with technology by an artist or collective from Nordic Countries) – $1,000
➜ BCS Immersive Environment Award (for excellence artworks that create a sensory experience, through XR, virtual worlds, or multi-screen projection) – $1,000
➜ Entry fees:
There is an entry fee of $38 to enter which covers two entries. Entry fee varies based on the number of entries.
