The Felix Schoeller Photo Award 2021: The Felix Schoeller Photo Award, photo competition that honours works that clearly illustrate a love of photography and exceptionally stringent demands on picture quality, has been recently opened for entries inviting anyone worldwide to participate.

The Felix Schoeller Photo Award is a photo competition organised every two years and now is callign for entries!

This competition honours works that clearly illustrate a love of photography and exceptionally stringent demands on picture quality.

Only professional photographers may submit entries to the “German Peace Prize for Photography”. Only emerging photographers may submit entries to the special category “Best Work by an Emerging Photographer”.

Every entry to the Felix Schoeller Photo Award must consist of no less than three and no more than five individual photographs. These may form a series or be unrelated individual photos. The images must follow a concept and demonstrate how the entrant has approached the photographic subject area. A concept outline is part of the entry. It must be submitted in English and may not exceed the maximum length of 1,000 characters.

The winners will be announced after the award ceremony on October 3, 2020.

This competition is open to anyone worldwide.

➜ Prize:

The winner in the category “German Peace Prize for Photography” will receive a cash prize of EUR 10,000. The winner in the category “Best Work by an Emerging Photographer” will be honored with the Felix Schoeller Emerging Photographer Award. This prize is endowed with prize money of EUR 2,500. Nominees for the Emerging Photographer Award also receive an exclusive online session with a jury member to discuss their work (portfolio review).
