STA 100 International Typography Competition 2020: The Society of Typographic Arts recently has announced STA 100 International Typography Competition 2020 seeking to honor the finest 100 examples of communication design and typography from around the world.

Short description

The STA 100 International Typography Competition 2020, organised by Society of Typographic Arts seeks to honor the finest 100 examples of communication design and typography from around the world.
Designers, agencies, freelancers and organizations are encouraged to submit their professional or experimental work that represents exceptional typography and design.

The STA 100 international competition is 42 years in the making. Each fall, we bring the global design community together by inviting all creative professionals to submit typographic work and get recognized for it while building a network with unique industry opportunities in Chicago and beyond. Each fall, the Chicago-based Society of Typographic Arts (STA) brings the global design community together by inviting all creative professionals to submit typographic work and get recognized for it.

Submission requirements:

➜ Entries must have been produced between October 1, 2019 and November 6, 2020. ➜ Digital assets only — No printed or physical samples will be accepted
JPG or PNG, 4000px maximum dimension
5 MB maximum filesize
Up to 6 images total (hero image + 5 additional images)
➜ All videos must be hosted on either Vimeo or YouTube

The panel of distinguished industry professionals will identified only 100 winners and one Judge’s Choice award each. The winners are announced during a live event, which is followed by an open discussion of that year’s work.

The complete 100 winners will be presented over the interwebs (it's a series of tubes) by the judges in November.

Entry fees:

➜ STA member: $30/entry
➜ Non-member: $60/entry

Every third entry is free for members only.
