The reEarth International Art Prize and competition is an extraordinary opportunity for young artists from around the world to showcase their talent and contribute to a global movement for a sustainable future.
Created and launched from New Zealand to the world, the reEarth International Art Prize is a global initiative that connects young artists with a shared vision of a sustainable future.
This prize offer to children and youth a chance to gain international recognition, win amazing prizes, and have their artwork exhibited in Auckland and Vienna.
There are three competition categories:
➜ Painting & Drawing
➜ Photography
➜ Digital Art & Illustration
Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, interpretation of the theme, technique, and overall impression.
The jury of international artists will select the winners, and the selected artworks will be qualified for the International Art Prize and showcased online as well as in exhibitions in Auckland, New Zealand and Vienna, Austria.
➜ Submission requirements:
Painting and Drawing
There is no restriction on sizes. Make sure it is a 2D artwork, not 3D with objects attached to the artwork surface. Use any paper, canvas, cardboard, or any surface you prefer. Paints, Pastels, Pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oil paints, acrylic paints, collage, etc. are all acceptable. You can also use an unconventional medium if you wish.
Organiser can only accept digital files for submission. That means you will have to photograph your artwork and then send that picture via our submission page.
Photography
This competition is open to all kinds of photographs which may be taken on any camera, including but not limited to: smartphone, point-n-shoot, DSLR, mirrorless or a film camera of any sort.
Make sure you keep a copy of the unedited original raw photograph (or film negative).
Digital Art and Illustration
Any digital art medium may be used, including digital painting, illustration, graphic design, 3D modeling, animation, etc. AI-generated works are not admissible.
Acceptable formats FOR ALL CATEGORIES include JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF. Each file should be within 5MB in size. Winning entries will be later asked to send larger files.
➜ Who may enter?
The competition is open to individuals residing in any part of the world. Young artists must be between 4 to 25 years old as of August 20, 2024. Applicants can apply individually or through their school or institution.
➜ Prize:
All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation, ensuring that every artist is acknowledged for their efforts.
➜ Entry fees:
The submission fee is $10 per artwork, regardless of the category.
