PHOTOLAR 17th: Celebrations and Traditions Worldwide : Gráficas LAR is hosting their 17th edition of the PHOTOLAR photography contest, calling all interested adults from all parts of the world to participate.

Gráficas LAR is hosting their 17th edition of the PHOTOLAR photography contest and calling for entries all interested adults from all parts of the world.

The subject for this edition is “Celebrations and Traditions Worldwide” and eligible for entry are images that convey the essence of traditions or celebrations worldwide.

AI-generated images are not allowed and will result in immediate disqualification.

The winner will be awarded a cash prize, and his/her name will be printed in the whole 2026 Gráficas LAR calendar.

Gráficas LAR is a little printing shop in a town in the northwest of Spain and this calendar is their main mark of quality after 17 years of doing it. The main purpose of this contest is to print a beautiful and high quality calendar that will cheer up the homes and offices of their customers.

➜ Submission requirements:

➜ Every participant must send 12 pictures, in landscape format and in colour, each labeled with the month proposed for each picture written in the filename (january.jpg, february.jpg..., or 1.jpg, 2.jpg...).

➜ You can also send your 12 pictures using download links (Dropbox, Wetransfer, …). For evaluation by the jury, pictures can be sent in web quality (72dpi) or even with your own watermark.

Within ten days after the jury announces its decision, the winner of the contest must provide organiser with the 12 files with a size and resolution that guarantees the proper impression: it is advisable to use 300 dpis and 30x20 cms (12x8 inches) as a minimum size.

➜ Prize:

The winner will be awarded a 400 Euro cash prize, and his/her name will be printed in the whole 2026 Gráficas LAR calendar. The winner will also be the author of the twelve pictures that will illustrate the photo calendar.
