ON PAPER International Printmaking Contest 2023: The ON PAPER International Printmaking Contest 2023, annual international printmaking project has been recently organised by On Paper to promote the art of printmaking, as well as the connection between printmakers around the world inviting each artist to partecipate.
Short description
ON PAPER International Printmaking Contest 2023, annual international printmaking project, now in its 9th year is calling for entries!
ON PAPER encourages artists to develop their creativity and uniqueness through the process of printing. It has been created to promote the art of printmaking and connect printmakers around the world.
Each artist can submit one piece of work on a paper size of 30cm x 40cm. The print size can be any within the size of the paper.
The work must have been made using any traditional printmaking techniques, including screenprinting, lithography, etching, engraving, collagraph, monotype, block printing, woodcut, electro-etching, photo etching, photopolymer, etc. Entrants are also encouraged to use non-toxic techniques.
Digital prints (prints made with a printer) are not accepted. However, digital processes can be used to elaborate prints that are traditionally printed.
The work must be relatively new, completed in the last couple of years and not have received a prize before.
The international jury will select between 10 – 15 prints. The print with more votes will receive the prize.
Who may enter?
The ON PAPER International Printmaking Contest 2023 is open to anyone worldwide.
Prize:
The winner will receive 1000 EUR. The winner will also be announced at the opening event and via our social media channels.
The shortlisted artists will be exhibited in Tinta Invisible, Barcelona (Spain) in July.
Entry fees:
Entry fee is 26 Euro.
