International 212 Photography Istanbul Competition 2022: Entries are currently accepted for the International 212 Photography Competition, run by the 212 Photography Istanbul festival and showcasing the best up-and-coming talents of the year from Turkey, the region and the world.

Short description

International 212 Photography Istanbul Competition 2022, a major photo event now is calling for entries! Run by the 212 Photography Istanbul festival in partnership with Yapı Kredi bomontiada, this competition is showcasing the best up-and-coming talents of the year from Turkey, the region and the world.

The 212 Photography Istanbul is an annual cultural and educational international photography festival, featuring an array of exhibits, workshops, film screenings, lecture / panels, portfolio reviews and more. The main goal of the festival is to bring together various artistic minds to showcase their talents.

By choosing to enter the 212 Photography Istanbul Competition, you gain the benefit of the prestige and international exposure that comes from entering a competition of this scope.

The 212 Photography Istanbul event for 2020 is scheduled for 6–16 October,2022.

Submission requirements:

➜ All entries must be submitted in digital JPEG format.
➜ All entries submitted to the Competition should be 1920 pixels at the longest dimension and be no larger than 3 MB.
➜ Entries should be saved at a quality level of at least 7 in Photoshop or Lightroom in the color format of Adobe RGB (1998).
➜ Image manipulation of digital files that include, HDR, focus stacking, noise reduction, dodging, burning, dust spot removal, sharpening, contrast, tone, and multiple exposure layering (provided that they were all taken in the same session in the same location) are permitted. All EXIF data should be kept intact on the files submitted.
➜ On the second round high resolution files may be requested of entrants who have been selected by the judges and Admin should be in TIFF format if possible, or JPEG and should be in 8-bit Adobe RGB. They should be cropped the same, and in the same colors as the original JPEG entry. Entrants are requested not to upscale their work.

Who may enter?

The competition is designed to showcase work from all ages and stages, and from all levels of photographers.

Prize:

The First Prize for 2022 is 5,000 Euro + feature in 212 Magazine. In addition, 10 shortlisted participants will also be awarded.

Entry fees:

Entry fee is 15 Euro for each entry.
