2025 Sports Photography Grants is now open for entries!

2025 Sports Photography Grants : The 2025 Sports Photography Grants, founded by the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund based in USA, has been recently opened for entries and invites all emerging and early-career sports photographers to participate submitting they best works.

Short description

The 2025 Sports Photography Grants, founded by the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund based in USA, has been recently opened for entries and invites all emerging and early-career sports photographers to participate.
To enter the competition, you must submit 20 sports photographs (action and portrait both accepted).

Submissions can only be made through the application process on Picter. The application will be live on the Picter platform beginning on March 15.

Submission requirements:

Resume: Must include dates and be in English. Please note that in addition to demonstrating that you are a serious aspiring sports photographer, the resume is also the tool that the DPPF uses to determine that your level of experience does not exceed the limits of eligibility.
Professional Bio: need to have 1500-character maximum
Portfolio: you nee to send 20 sports photography images (action and portrait both accepted), minimum size 1500px long side. All 20 required imagesmust be taken on or after 1/1/2021. 15 images of the required 20 images must be taken on or after 1/1/2023

Who may enter?

The competition is open to emerging and early-career sports photographers.

Prize:

7 photographers will each receive a $5,000 grant, to be spent on career development. They will also receive an expenses-paid trip to the 2026 DPPF Sports Photography Gathering.
