2025 European Photography Awards : The European Photography Awards 2025, recently organised by International Awards Associate Inc (IAA), recognises exquisite and artistic content while honouring vast arrays of genres in the photographic medium, extending the reaches of your talents all across the globe.

The European Photography Awards 2025, recently organised by International Awards Associate Inc (IAA), recognises exquisite and artistic content while honouring vast arrays of genres in the photographic medium, extending the reaches of your talents all across the globe.
This international competition welcome photographers from worldwide nations ready to hone their photography skills and their extraordinary takes on diversity, whilst portraying the majestic cultures passed down for generations.
There are FIVE (5) levels of achievement in the competition:
➜ European Photographer of the Year
➜ European Category Winners of the Year (12 Categories)
➜ Platinum Winner (85-100 points)
➜ Gold Winner (60-84 points)
➜ Honourable Mentions (50-59 points)
Recognising exquisite and artistic content, the awards honours vast arrays of genres in the photographic medium, extending the reaches of your talents all across the globe. No matter your status in the industry, your visualisations of the world and all it encases are what the awards celebrates. Unearth limitless possibilities while embarking on an outlandish voyage across the vast continent pieced together by countless diverse countries, where they combine to form a grandeur landmass.
European Photography Awards Categories are divided into 12 award programs: Germany Photography, France Photography, Italy Photography, Switzerland Photography, Architecture Photography, Black & White Photography, Commercial Photography, Editorial Photography, Fine Art Photography, Nature Photography, People Photography and Special Categories.
All photography genres are acceptable, under the circumstances that it was taken within the past 5 years, starting from 2020. There are no limitations on your work, be it a photo of spontaneous moments or polished images.
The jury panel comprised of experienced professionals in their field and industry, including creative and art directors from international agencies, established photographers, photo editors, art collectors, educators or business owners from around the world, bringing industry knowledge and category-specific skill sets to evaluate every entry.
Evaluation Criteria:
➜ Originality (Uniqueness of Concept / Expression of Theme)
➜ Creativity (Storytelling / Mood)
➜ Technical Execution (Composition, Colour, Lighting, Exposure & Focus)
➜ Subject Matter / Relevancy to Category Topic
➜ Overall Impression / Wow Factor
➜ Submission requirements:
➜ It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. Organiser suggest you utilise this section of your entry to elaborate on the piece as well as the creativity and originality of your idea. The brief should strengthen your entry, as well as providing the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.
➜ The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (Keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).
➜ All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The European Photography Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.
➜ Entries must be produced within the last FIVE (5) calendar years up through the final deadline.
➜ Who may enter?
The European Photography Awards extends its’ open arms to worldwide individuals over the age of 18, regardless of where you come from. You do not have to necessarily come from Europe to be a part of the family. The awards are available on 3 primary levels, categorised under professional, amateur, and student photographers.
➜ Prize:
➜ Photographer of the Year (Professional Category) will receive $3,000 in cash prize.
➜ Photographer of the Year (Amateur Category) will receive $2,000 in cash prize.
➜ 12 Category Winners of the Year (Professional and Amateur Categories) will receive $100 in cash prize each.
