The Cortona On The Move Award, recently open call for entries is created with the desire to support photographers in the development and production of their projects.

Now in its third edition, in partnership with LensCulture, the Award is part of the constant search for original and innovative narratives that has always characterised Cortona On The Move.

This free, open call encourages both seasoned photographers and emerging talents to submit their unpublished or ongoing projects. Emphasizing a broad thematic scope, the contest invites a variety of photographic approaches - from documentary to conceptual art - aiming to discover new perspectives and visionary interpretations of contemporary issues. This prestigious award is part of the Cortona On The Move photography festival, which is renowned for its commitment to advancing the craft and the visual storytelling community. Each year, the festival draws creative minds from across the globe, offering them not only a stage to exhibit their work but also valuable networking opportunities. By providing a space where photographers can engage with industry leaders and peers, the festival fosters a vibrant exchange of ideas and encourages profound cultural dialogues. This competition is open worldwide to individual photographers and collectives.

➜ Prize:

The winner will receive €3,000 and the opportunity to exhibit their project at the next edition of the festival. Additionally, two other selected projects will have their work published on the LensCulture website. All finalists will have their projects announced and showcased during the festival’s opening.
