8th Annual ’Patterns, Textures & Forms’ Online Art Competition: Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 8th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Art Competition inviting 2D and 3D artists from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s September 2024 online group exhibition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 8th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Art Competition.

2D and 3D artists from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s September 2024 online group exhibition.

The gallery invites artists (including photography & digital art), regardless of where they reside, to apply to this competition by submitting their interpretation of the “Patterns, Textures & Forms” theme.

Artists should submit their best representational and/or abstract work in any media.

Based on the artwork submitted to our competitions, they will be judged based on the following elements of artistic expression:

1. Interpretation and the clarity of the theme to the viewer.

2. Creativity and originality of the depicted theme.

3. Quality of artistic composition and overall design based on the theme.

4. Overall impression of the art. What is the effect of the artwork in general and as a whole? Overall, does the artwork stand on its own as a complete and outstanding work of art?

➜ Who may enter?

This competition is open to 2D and 3D artists from around the world.

➜ Prize:

The Best in Show winner will receive a cash prize of $100. Winners receive extensive worldwide publicity and promotion.

➜ Entry fees:

The discounted entry fees are as follows until July 1, 2024: $16 for 1 to 2 entries and $24 for 3 to 5 entries.
After that time, the entry fees revert to the gallery’s normal entry fee amount or $18 for 1 to 2 entries and $26 for 3 to 5 entries until the deadline of the art competition.
